Daily Surf Report - 5/6/2013

Now rocking our SUMMER HOURS and open daily from 9am - 6pm.

New day, new week, new weather.  Coastal overcast but no winds and currently 57F and balmy.  Sunshine is just around the bend and already showing in Pt. Reyes.  If yesterday wasn't your cup of tea give today a whirl.  More to ride and looks to be a nice day on the coast as well.  South swell is gone and the North is meager but the wind swell will give us something to ride today.

CHANNEL: A bit churned but peaks pop up and offer rides along the Groin bar.  Not super clean but give it time to calm down from yesterday and you may be pleasantly surprised with the results.  Incoming tide push giving some help but hurry before it swamps out.  Size looks to be almost waist high and mostly rights into the Mali-Bo area.  Still best on longboards today.

PATCH: A few waves here and there and mostly mid-way and inside right now.  A few longboarders and 2 SUPs in the water and the rights are rideable and thigh high + in size.  Overall relatively smooth and not too bad considering what yesterday looked like.  Giddy up and get in the water.

PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.
