Daily Surf Report - 5/4/2013

Now rocking our SUMMER HOURS and open daily from 9am - 6pm.

If you're not laughing you're crying.  Put a smile and some sunscreen on your face and get in the water.  Sunny and 54F with no winds and a beautiful start to the weekend.  S swell continues to stick around and cough out another day of waves for your riding pleasure.  Morning high tide giving that nice extra push.  Surf in both spots in town today.

CHANNEL: Super glassy and clean with plenty of rights in the Mali-BO arena.  Equipment working on all cylinders including longboards, foamie paipos, Beaters, eggs, etc.  Fins first acrobatics and tandem surfing galore.  Inside shampoo sections with blow dry and comb out available on the run back up the beach to the first peak.  Occasional lefts to shoot the pier on if you have nerves of steel.  Size is consistently waist high + and few up to chest.  Lather / Rinse / Repeat.

PATCH: Continues to have fun and rideable longboard surf in the thigh to waist high range.  Logs and SUPs on it again and plenty of water keeps the rocks, barnacles and starfish covered up.  Seals and manta rays in groups out and about.  Will start to diminish as tide pulls out but will re-convene in the evening.

PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.
