Daily Surf Report - 5/18/2013

Now rocking our SUMMER HOURS and open daily from 9am - 6pm.

Clear, sunny and chill morning in Bolinas today.  No clouds, light puffs of wind, smooth ocean and temp starts at 55F.  High pressure over the region through the weekend so come on out to the beach, it's a beautiful day.  Not much but a little bit surf wise.  Enough to get wet and stay tuned for the new S swell expected to start showing up later today.

CHANNEL: Periodic peaks with not much energy behind them.  Enough to get your log moving and get your fill.  Get your 10 wave limit outside in the Channel on the thigh high lefts then change spots and sample something else.  Tempt your taste buds on the Mali-BO rights as they cruise along at a snail's pace through the Groin and to the beach.  Only knee high but what a ride!  Early morning high tide helps but it is on the way out so get your suit on and ride.  About 12 already in the water.

PATCH: Light winds blowing offshore here helping to groom up the waves.  They are small and few and far between but shapely and rideable on a big board.  Inside rights are smooth and run along the Snags to the beach.  Scattered peaks mid way and occasionally outside and size is knee to thigh all over.  Sunny and beautiful here.  Grab something big and walk the plank.

PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.
