Daily Surf Report - 5/1/2013

Back in action after a short scheduling hiccup.  Now rocking our SUMMER HOURS and open daily from 9am - 6pm.

Welcome to MAY!.  We start the month beautiful with full on sunshine, no wind whatsoever and a current morning temp of 56F.  A really nice beach day already.  Tide is heading low, low and really starting to suck out.  Get it while you can of wait for the evening session.

CHANNEL: A bit rippy looking as tide drops out to a negative low.  Still some thigh high + lefts to be sampled at the Groin bar.  It is now or never over here as water levels are dropping but there are still waves at the moment....

PATCH: Small but longer period S swell showing signs at the Patch.  Frequent waves happening all over the region and most shapely outside around the meeting rock.  Size runs up to waist high.  A small SUP contingent and some logger lumberjacks on it in a Battle Royale style cage match.  Bring the big board - get some waves to ride.  Afternoon tide push has been productive.

PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.

TIDES:

HIGH: 4:16 am 5.4'

LOW: 10:59 pm  -0.6'

HIGH: 6:26 pm  4.9'
