Daily Surf Report - 5/2/2013

Now rocking our SUMMER HOURS and open daily from 9am - 6pm.

Sunny and already warm with NE winds blowing and a current morning temp of 63F.  Great day to come out and cool off at the beach.  South swell has filled in and is showing.  Tide is heading low in a hurry so early morning sessions are best or afternoon/evenings when the water returns.

CHANNEL: Getting rippy and trippy as water levels drop.  Still a shapely left working at the Groin bar but the Channel isn't working too well.  A few intrepid explorers reported Seadrift waves are rideable.  Size remains in the thigh high range.  Get on it now or wait until the tide change in the afternoon.

PATCH: S swell showing at the Patch.  Better at the higher early morning tide but still working now with the tide heading low, low.  Mushy peaks to ride on your log and size is thigh to almost waist high today.  Surfers and SUPs in the water and bigger boards will work well today.  Rocks are currently covered for your slide and glide enjoyment.  That wont be the case in a few hours so now is better.

PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.
