Daily Surf Report - 5/31/2013

Now rocking our SUMMER HOURS and open daily from 9am - 6pm.

Sunny skies with light valley fog on the drive out and a morning temp of 54F.  No wind and a high pressure system is over the area through the weekend.  Inland temps expected into the 90s.  Come out to the beach to cool off and take a dip.

No more S swell and just localized NW windswell in the water.  Next real swell of significance isn't due until next week.  It looks legit with periods out to 22s and wave heights of 4' but not expected to reach CA until the 5th or 6th.  Stay tuned!

Better morning tides but still heading to low.  Lots of beach to walk on but not too many exposed rocks - yet.  Early or late will yield best potential results as mid-day tide is too low.  Micro waves at best but a beautiful day here in Bolinas.

CHANNEL:   Lefts working in the knee high size both at the Groin and in the Channel.  Not too much going on here but just enough to get a longboard moving.  Possibly something going on over at Seadrift where the rights may be working in the knee high range as well.

PATCH: Bordering on FLAT with the occasional knee high log-able right working midway and outside.  Great for kayaks and touring SUPs.  Not so much for wave riding equipment today.

PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.

TIDES:

HIGH: 5:12 am   4.7'

LOW:  11:28 am  0.0'

HIGH: 6:42 pm   5.5'
