Daily Surf Report - 5/23/2013

Now rocking our SUMMER HOURS and open daily from 9am - 6pm.

Chill air but sunny skies and no wind - yet.  Morning temp of 51F and warming.  Ocean temp of 49F and chilled out due to recent winds.  Bring the booties and gloves if you need them.  Still expecting afternoon winds to blow so jump in now for the best conditions.  Localized NW windswell and the remaining S swell still delivering fun waves to ride in town today.  Glassy and glistening in the sun.  A beautiful morning to be in Bolinas.

CHANNEL:   Clean and shapely left off the Groin bar that holds up for turns and runs.  Size is around thigh to almost waist but consistent and fun.  A few rights worth exploring at Seadrift and the incoming tide hitting Mali-BO is worth a look as well.  A crowd of 2 in the water getting it good.

PATCH: Peaks galore and popping up all over the Patch today.  Incoming tide has the inside Snags working cleanly as it runs towards the beach.  A few shore dumpers that require an early exit but fun stuff to ride.  Mid-way and outside there are waves that go anywhere from waist high and a bit bigger.  Plenty of waves to ride this morning.

PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.
