Daily Surf Report - 6/3/2011

Cloudy with sun in the background trying to burn through. Currently no wind, no rain and temp is 54F. Rain may be in the future but weather is settled at the moment. Still some south swell in the water and waves to be ridden.

Channel: Waves off the inner Groin bar that are about thigh high +. Mostly lefts with a few rights across at Seadrift. 8 surfers out and long boards look like the best call.

Patch: Thigh to waist high waves on the outside past and at the rock. Smooth ocean and peaks are scattered a bit to the south but plenty of small waves and longboards and SUPs are in the water.

Daily Surf Report - 6/1/2011

Closing at 2:00

Wind has picked up and is one shore.

12:30 update: Sun is out. Wind is picking up but is not bad. The surf in the channel has improved with incoming tide. There are some waves to be had, longboard-able.
The patch is a bit more disorganized. No one in this spot. Waist + in the far outside.

Good morning surfers,

Crazy weather for the first day of June here in Bolinas. It is raining here this morning. The upside of the rain is that the winds have slowed way down. There is some decent swell in the water, but the water is a bit choppy. Winds are predicted to pick up as the day goes on.

Channel: Waves are about knee high, inconsistent. No one in this spot.

Patch: Looks like there is some south swell hitting this spot. Waist+ on the far outside. Still a bit bumpy in this spot as well. A couple people on long boards.
Please give me a call if you are planning on coming out today. 415 868 0264
