Daily Surf Report - 8/6/2014

Inspirational crystal quote of the day:
"Here comes the sun" - George H.

The sun is out and shining with all its glory this morning, finally breaking through the misty cloud bank. As for the surf... still not much this morning as the tide is getting ready to peak. Expect crowds today with the sun and very little parking. Bring your towels and get ready to hike. Maybe venture to some of the scenic trails up on the mesa or go bird watching at the observatory.

CHANNEL: Tiny, glassy, and no one out. Tide is a bit high and there isn't much swell. Maybe with a bit less water it will improve and pick up. Keep positivity in the forefront of your mind but don't hold your breath for this spot today.

PATCH:   Small little knee slappers are rolling in today as six logs and two SUPs are working the conveyor-belt this morning. Should be the call for today as conditions are glassy and bound to stay fairly consistent throughout the day.

PACK IT IN. PACK IT OUT.
