Nearly rain and wipers are on this moist Marin morning. Almost drizzle, we call is mizzle as it is a heavy mist. Overcast and foggy as well but that is keeping the winds light. Temp clocks in at 60F and that may be as warm as it gets today. Who needs sun when kids are back in school and a little wave is available to ride? Still have NW windswell and the remnants of a steep S groundswell to contend with. Combo is possible and those waves are best. For now relatively small but rideable and incoming tide push should help.
CHANNEL: A cluster-cuss of surfers sitting on the Groin bar peak that is delivering thigh high rights and lefts for your longboard this morning. Waves to be shared and ridden by you and your closest friends. Remember positivity and sharing is caring. Keep one eye open for Mali-Bo insiders as the tide is right for small wave rippers there. Seadrift is foggy but likes windswell and should have something to ride if the maddening crowd of 8 is too much to bear.
PATCH: Nothing much happening and even less to report as the early morning Patch has low tide and low waves. J-ankle high at best and perfect for the fishing kayaks launching early this morning. Tour on your SUP but waves will be scarce until the tide fills in late morning.
