Daily Surf Report - 8/5/2014

Inspirational crystal quote of the day:
"Live to play" - The new guy (John Priolo)

It's another overcast and dreary morning here in Bo as meteorologists predict rain and possible thunder throughout the day. But that is not to say it is not beautiful, as the fog is sparse and whilst standing atop the overlook, you could see as far as San Francisco and almost (maybe) the Farallons. It's a beautiful sight indeed as the ocean is calm and glassy and the seagulls dominate lake Bolinas. Not too much by way of swell, but a few guys are trying their luck out there. Expect the incoming tide to help the waves way later in the afternoon.

CHANNEL:  Flat as can be out there this morning. Small little ankle biters are rolling through over on the Seadrift side as no one is out. Could possibly improve later with the tide. The key for today is to WAIT.

PATCH:  Small waves are rolling in on the inside patch and are rideable but don't quite break till way way inside in inches of water. A few guys are out and trying their luck out here this morning. With the tide shift, expect improvement and a crowd.

PACK IT IN. PACK IT OUT.
