Daily Surf Report - 10/9/2011

Good morning surfers,

Another day, and still some waves rolling in. Currently overcast, looks as though it's burning off quickly this morning. Winds are light and variable, slightly onshore. A little more texture on the ocean this morning, but still looks fun, so come on out and catch some waves.

Channel: Waves rolling in in the waist to chest high range, a lot are closing out, but the groin has a nice shoulder holding up. 3 people out.

Patch: Scattered peaks all around, waist high. Looks fun out there. Bring your long board, go out and have some fun. About 10 people out, scattered.

New surf mats from Krypt and Mark Thomson are available to demo/rent. If you have tried boogie boarding and body surfing this is the next level of prone wave riding. We have varying shapes and sizes to match your needs. Come check out Vito, Sonny, Michael and Freddo for a dose of something new.

Just a reminder to pack your trash!!! PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.

High: 10:52 am 5.6'
