Daily Surf Report - 10/15/2011

We start the day with Musical Youth to put us in a good mood - Pass the Dutchie. We then roll into The Police for the rest of the day.

South winds ahoy but moderate. Currently overcast with a balmy 59F temp. Still expecting sunshine and temps into the low 70s today. Surf is like the packaged chicken you buy at the grocery store - pieces and parts. There are about 10 in the water so waves can be ridden. Small S south and NW windswell combo.

Channel: Lefts off the 2 bars working in the thigh high size. Coming from a few directions due to the wind. Longboarders out getting some. Textured ocean surface today.

Patch: Inside waves in the knee to thigh high range. Tide dependent so should change throughout the day. Not working outside but a few SUPs paddling. Hoping for the evening glass off.

Did we mention the board rack is full of sticks waiting and wanting to be waxed and ridden. Surf season is upon us so come by and check out the selection.

Just a reminder to pack your trash!!! PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.

Tides:
Low: 7:25 am 2.8'
High: 1:32 pm 5.6'
Low: 8:16 pm 0.1'

We are now open daily from 9am - 6pm for our Summer hours from MAY through OCTOBER. Come out to rent if you need gear. We have a full selection of suits, boots, boards and SUPs to rent every day and are only 522 steps to the beach.

If your are in need of a new suit or board now is the time to pick something up as we are fully stocked with new gear. The rack has everything from Mini Simmons, fishes and eggs to classic longboards. We also have plenty of wetsuits, hoods, gloves and booties for your cold water surfing.
