Daily Surf Report - 10/1/2011

Musical Selection:
The WHO, Talking Heads and The Kinks with a special guest appearance by Wang Chung.

Clearing skies with patches of blue already showing through. Expecting sunshine early in the day. Current temp is 60F with moderate S winds. Ocean textured from overnite winds.


Channel: There out things out there resembling waves and there are surfers in the water making a go of it. Beats sleeping in or not surfing. Waves are in the knee to thigh high range and intermittent on the 2 bars. Mostly windswell today.


Patch: Not working this morning. Inside waves in the knee high size. Ocassional outside peak with 1 surfer on it. We hope for improvement later in the day.


New surf mats from Krypt and Mark Thomson are available to demo/rent. If you have tried boogie boarding and body surfing this is the next level of prone wave riding. We have varying shapes and sizes to match your needs. Come check out Vito, Sonny, Michael and Freddo for a dose of something new.

If your are in need of a new suit or board now is the time to pick something up as we are fully stocked with new gear. The rack has everything from Mini Simmons, fishes and eggs to classic longboards. We also have plenty of wetsuits, hoods, gloves and booties for your cold water surfing.
