Daily Surf Report - 10/12/2011

1:30pm Update:
Sunny and warm - 74F. No winds and surf continues to be solid and rideable with receding tide.

Good morning. We have sunny skies, no wind and a current temp of 54F. Full parking lot as the NW groundswell has arrived and lots of surfers in the water at this time. High pressure system expected to keep temps warm throughtout the rest of the week. Both spots in town have surf today.

Channel: Racy lefts in the chest high size. Shortboards and fish are working on the inside Groin bar and longboards are sitting outside in the Channel. Fun and fast stuff.

Patch: Scattered waves in the chest high + range. Way outside past the rock and a bit to the north as well. Longboards and SUPs catching waves this morning.

New surf mats from Krypt and Mark Thomson are available to demo/rent. If you have tried boogie boarding and body surfing this is the next level of prone wave riding. We have varying shapes and sizes to match your needs. Come check out Vito, Sonny, Michael and Freddo for a dose of something new.

Just a reminder to pack your trash!!! PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.
