Daily Surf Report - 10/6/2011

Alternating periods of pissing downpour and calm skies. Dark and stormy clouds and patches of blue. Swirling winds and light offshores. A true mixed bag of weather today. Current temp is 52F. Ocean is textured in parts and somewhat smooth in others. Storm swell activity in the water.

Channel: Fast peaks moving through the area with waves in the waist high + range. Breaking on both the Groin and Channel bars. Not super clean but rideable for a bit.

Patch: Thigh high and breaking on the north end. Also some good inside shorebreak for body surfing, handplanes or mats. Good tide for rock coverage. Looks fun.

Boat Ramp: Shorebreak in the 2-3' size that also looks fun for a boogie board, surf mat or handplane.

New surf mats from Krypt and Mark Thomson are available to demo/rent. If you have tried boogie boarding and body surfing this is the next level of prone wave riding. We have varying shapes and sizes to match your needs. Come check out Vito, Sonny, Michael and Freddo for a dose of something new.

Just a reminder to pack your trash!!! PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.
