Daily Surf Report - 10/28/2011

Enough digression for a while. Now back to the basics which are weather, surf, tides, wind and events.

That Fall feeling is in the air which is currently 45F but sunny and beautiful this morning. Lightly offshore breeze and a relatively smooth ocean. A few lines starting to form and hopefully a precursor to increased surf. There is a decent period swell from the north on the buoys.

Channel: Thigh high little peelers in the middle of the Channel. Only 2 or 3 longboarders out in this spot. Sun is up and light spray off the back. Waves are small but rideable today.

Patch: Signs of the Patch waking up with scattered surfers and SUPs outside and to the north. Lines forming with typical swell period waiting but rewarding with waist high waves and some long rides.

The board rack is full of sticks waiting and wanting to be waxed and ridden. Surf season is upon us so come by and check out the selection.

Just a reminder to pack your trash!!! PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.

Tides:
Low: 6:26 am 2.2'
High: 12:43 pm 6.8'
Low: 7:24 pm -1.4'
