Daily Surf Report - 10/18/2011

Not as foggy this morning with high overcast but visible conditions. Temp is 57F and it did warm up and the sun came out yesterday in the late morning. Very light winds and a smooth ocean. Surf is small and only rideable on a longboard today.

Channel: Knee high waves in the Channel and at Seadrift. Occasionally bigger up to the thigh. There are about 6 surfers in the water catching waves.

Patch: Inside wave breaking at ankle to calf high. Could improve if there really is a South out there. No takers at this time.

Did we mention the board rack is full of sticks waiting and wanting to be waxed and ridden. Surf season is upon us so come by and check out the selection.

Just a reminder to pack your trash!!! PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.
