Daily Surf Report - 10/21/2011

Closing early today - 3:30pm.
PVH 5K Twilight Race with my daughter - who is defending youth champion!

Sunshine, cool morning air, offshore breeze grooming it up! Temp is currently 51F. A beautiful Fall morning with a few small longboardable waves.

Channel: Thigh high waves in the Channel and at Seadrift. Very smooth and intermittent. Moderate waiting period between rideable waves. Channel bar is in good shape when the waves hit it. Surfers and SUPs are in the water.

Patch: Inside waves that are knee high at best. Very flat today. Great for an SUP paddle. No takers yet.

Did we mention the board rack is full of sticks waiting and wanting to be waxed and ridden. Surf season is upon us so come by and check out the selection.

Just a reminder to pack your trash!!! PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.

Tides:
High: 8:16 am 4.9'
Low: 1:40 pm 2.4'
