Daily Surf Report - 10/5/2011

1:00pm Update:
Intermittent showers and overcast skies. Periods of sun. Unsettled. Waves in the Channel. Closing at 3pm.

Post rain sunshine with light winds and a morning temp of 54F. Sun is out and birds are chirping. Looks like it is starting off to be a nice day. Ocean is smooth with some residual storm swell activity. Nothing special but a few rideable waves and a nice morning.

Channel: Scattered waves on the Groin and Channel bars. Thigh high in size and sectioned. Occassionally one lines up and breaks for a while.

Patch: Knee high but breaking on the inside.

New surf mats from Krypt and Mark Thomson are available to demo/rent. If you have tried boogie boarding and body surfing this is the next level of prone wave riding. We have varying shapes and sizes to match your needs. Come check out Vito, Sonny, Michael and Freddo for a dose of something new.

Just a reminder to pack your trash!!! PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.
