Daily Surf Report - 8/25/2011

2:00pm Update - Sun is now out. Winds remain light. Ocean remains smooth. Temp is now 70F

A reprieve from the foggy / drizzle today with overcast skies and a current temp of 59F. Light offshore winds and smooth ocean surface. Lots of fun peelers in the waist high range today. It is on if you want to ride a longboard in town.

Channel: Waves in the waist high size breaking on the Channel bar. Smooth and consistent. Very rideable on longboards today. Inside Groin lefts as well in the thigh + size.

Patch: Inside waves and knee high and crumbling. Possibly later with more water a session here will be possible.

Check out the trailer for our friend Doug Walker's new surf movie "Lost and Found" It will be premiering at the NYC Surf Film Fest in September and is a great piece of surfing history that should not be missed.
