Daily Surf Report - 3/21/2013
Second day of spring much nicer than the first. Full sunshine today, no wind, glassy ocean and a bit of rideable surf! Air temp coming in at 43 degrees but that will warm up nicely today. Little storm has brought a little south swell with it and some waves as well. Fun day to surf and great for beginners as well.
CHANNEL: I've go MaliBo on my mind as I watch glassy little peelers roll through the inside of the Groin pole and produce long rights. Fish, eggs, Simmons can work here now but tide switch may shut it down. Spinning cylinders on the Seadrift and Channel side of things of well and all look fun on a longboard. Size runs thigh high + but shape is good and there is a bit of push to get you going.
PATCH: Inside Patch is reeling with Hank and David enjoying the constant fun. High tide covers rocks and keeps the landings soft. Thigh high rollers with a bit of wait time between sets. If you have something long to ride come get it here today. Out in the mid-way region the occasional wave breaks and will connect to the inside, but most times won't. Fun stuff in the Patch.
PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.
TIDES:
HIGH: 7:26 am 4.9'
