We are open once again after a short hiatus for all you ocean warriors and contenders. It's another dreary morning with a light mist as we all wake up, but this is bound to burn off later this morning and afternoon. The South swell has slowed down leaving us with a 3ft NNW swell that is having trouble making it's way around Duxbury's and winds from the south are creating texture this morning. Though the tides are extreme and it is heading out as of now, still too much water over the reef and sandbars is slowing the waves to a crawl. But with the temperatures already at 58F, today should turn out to be a warm and beautiful day perfect for playing in the sand and soaking up the sun.
CHANNEL: The tide is high still and swamping out the sandbars as some ankle high lefts break across the middle groin. No one is out and sets are lulling their way in this morning. Wait for there to be less water for any hopes here today.
PATCH: Small rights in the ankle to knee range are breaking and slowly dying off from just inside the meeting rock which is in a complete incognito mode as of now. Four logs and one SUP are trying their luck here this morning as conditions are challenging them all. Wait for the tide to shift a bit before the conditions improve and something a bit more rideable appears.
