The sun is out, the winds are light, the birds are chirping, and it is just a completely beautiful scene across the town this morning with one exception... there is no surf. The tide is an extreme low and the NW swell isn't making it's way around Duxbury as of now. On the other hand, it is warm in the low 60s already and bound to heat up throughout the day with partly cloudy skies that will most likely clear up to create crystal clear blue skies perfect for a beach day. With winds light this morning and the forecast predicting them to stay light throughout the day, expect some small rolling waves to push their way through once the tide shifts. But for now, sleep in or explore the crustacean kingdoms. Who knows what wonders you will find.
CHANNEL: The tide is too low to have anything rideable. All sandbars are exposed and the groin pool is completely out of the water. Small white water in the toe high range is breaking in ankle deep water onto the sand. Wait for the tide to fill in more and try your luck.
PATCH: Rocks are exposing themselves in a barely legal fashion this morning over sheets of glass. Nothing working here with the tide so low, but with more water, there may be some short little rides to be had on your largest water craft. Patience is key for this morning.
