No fog, light S wind and sunshine greet us on this wonderful Monday morning. Crystal clear weather with warm temps and a great day to be a surf camper! Still primarily dealing with very low morning tides, NW windswell and a small background S swell. Definitely needs more water to get working but the turnaround has started and tide levels will increase from sub-optimal later in the morning. Consistency is possible if the winds stay light and the water levels rise. Expect greatness in small doses. A fine beach day to romp and roam and we expect a few waves to roll through as well. Now lots of kelp covered sand and exposed rocks for all the amateur marine biologists out there.
CHANNEL: Low tide - No tide but starting the comeback to sea level presently. Too low to have any rideable waves but in a few hours give another look see. Right now just exposed sandbars and mini/micro waves that are ankle high and in ankle high water as well.
PATCH: All rocks are exposed and at full attention this morning. A few knee high rollers making it in and breaking for a short ride on the SUP or big log. More water helps to let the S swell in and for now it is a waiting game. May have a narrow window of opportunity depending on the winds so don't wander far and if it looks like a fun wave then suit up and ride.
