It's as if mother nature doesn't want the party to stop this morning after our day of festivities. While many of us are recovering from yesterday, the swell is pulsing through and lining up with just a slight breeze grooming the sea. A gift from the world to all us surfers. So while the hangovers and gloom may feel like a recipe for a slow and quite morning, the surf waits for no man and conditions are bound to shift later. Get out here early to score this morning. And what better cure is there for a bit too much to drink last night than a dip in the cool refreshing ocean and some fun waves to liven your stoke? With the air temp at 57F this morning and bound to heat up the fog burns off, where else would you want to be? Come on out and see what's in store for all.
CHANNEL: The tide is going out and the waves are lining up in the thigh+ range this morning mainly breaking in the middle channel and over on the seadrift side. Eight logs and Six SUPs dominating the peaks this morning with one sailboat sitting outside enjoying the front row seats. Come on out before the tide bottoms out today or enjoy the incoming tide later this afternoon, but be warned of the winds later today.
PATCH: The patch has just gotten back from the salon this morning and is cleaned up, clean cut, and clean shaved (groomed) with waves in the thigh high range and rolling their way to the inside. Only 4 guys out on various watercraft making it look easy. Don't wait too long for this spot or the tide will expose the rocks and the shape may deteriorate.
