Overcast and thick fog but not to worry as the full moon has charged all crystals and they shine brightly today and will lead you to the beach. As to improving the surf conditions that is beyond some powers that we control. NW windswell and background S swell looking for water as the word of the day is EXPOSURE. Negatively low and negatively effecting conditions in the early morning. Hopefully the turnaround brings wave action along with the high tides for your ocean enjoyment. For now we see sand islands, rocks and fisherman folly but few waves of consequence.
CHANNEL: The tide is filling in and has a long way to go. Pelican Island has appeared as submerged sandbars have popped up and been inhabited this morning. Super small sand spinners for mind-surfing are available but not for real stand up surfing endeavors just yet. Try wait as more water will fill in during the day and all tides after 12:17pm will be worthy of a look. Ankle high now and empty lineup.
PATCH: All rocks are completely exposed with the negative tide and the meeting rock is sticking at least 3 ft out of the water. Junky and crunchy conditions yet a few loggers are giving it a whirl. Mind your fins and feet on the rough bottom and follow your dreams to wherever they may lead. Ankle high + in size.
