Daily Surf Report - 4/6/2014

Inspirational crystal quote of the day:
“The great virtue in life is real courage that knows how to face facts and live beyond them.” - D.H. Lawrence

Do you like sunny Spring days with no wind and lots of sunshine?  Do you like plenty of beach access for digging sandcastles and picking up driftwood?  Do you like small but smooth longboard waves that put a smile on your face?  Do you carry CRYSTALS in your pocket and believe in their power?

Currently 52F and clear.  Warming up nicely as predicted.  Still a bit of combo swell in the water spitting out some crystalline cylinders of joy to surf.  Again small but smooth and fun for the entire family.

CHANNEL:  Has a small wave right in the middle of the Channel.  Breaking right and left and small at knee high in size.  Rapidly evaporating tide will shut it down over the next 2 hours.  Get it now then return later in the day on the incoming tide push.  About 7 in the water.

PATCH:  Low tide and still dropping.  Rocks showing and more emerging as well.  A nice smooth wave for your longboard riding pleasure this morning.  Size goes thigh high + and smoothness prevails.  Evening high tide push was even better but for now you can ride and glide.  About 12 in the water.

PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT.
Respect the Beach.

TIDES:

HIGH: 4:38 am 4.9'

LOW: 11:40 am 0.5'

HIGH: 7:17 pm 4.2'
