Overcast and S wind-ish morning with temp hovering around 55F. Expecting partly cloudy day with mild temps. Wind is light to moderate now and giving us a bit of texture to the ocean. Likely to pick up so hit it early with the incoming tide if you can. Just NW windswell remnants and a minor S swell trying to strut its stuff. Rideable now but onshore flow could hurt conditions later. Hoping for more S to fill in and tides remain good all day. Yewww!
CHANNEL: Not quite feeling it on the Bolinas side this morning. Sandbars have migrated to a new neighborhood and taken up residence on the Seadrift side of the Channel. A few pieces and parts worth looking into over there but mostly small rights that are thigh high and the rides are short. No lefts visible but take a chance if you want as the lineup is empty and solitude prevails. Be the first and only to catch a wave here this morning and set trends for others to follow.
PATCH:
S swell in play but S winds putting a little damper on the fun. If your heart is pure and your mind is clear you will reap the benefits of waist high surf of varying quality and quantity. Mostly rights and the occasional left can be surfed for unspecified distances on boards of differentiated length this morning. A few have shape and roll, reel and deal their way towards shore. A few start, sputter and stop in the watery depths. Tide is good. Rocks are covered but lurking. Get wet and put that saltwater smile back on your face.
