Daily Surf Report - 4/5/2014

Inspirational crystal quote of the day:
“To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe.” - Anatole France

I spy with my CRYSTAL eye a few lines on the horizon this fine Spring morning.  Sunny, clear skies and a temp of 50F.  If the weatherman is correct we will have warm temps through the weekend.  Moderate puffs of wind but blowing offshore so a high pressure system is present.  A little combo swell with NW windswell and a small background S groundswell.  Add a bit more water with incoming tide and fun times will be had by all.  Currently lots of sand and beach access and a great day to come to the beach.

CHANNEL:  Needs time and more water to get working again.  Just too low of a tide right now so just scattered inside little lefts that will spin but are only knee high grinders for now.  Swell direction looks good as the tide ups the ante, so try wait now, and check back later.

PATCH:  Low tide but not quite bottomed out here.  Feeling the S swell and the spot to rock that log today with plenty of smooth rollers and peaks to ride.  Size goes thigh high but smoothness and glide is the key and boards with embedded crystals will perform best.  Mind the rocks as they are exposed.

PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT.
Respect the Beach.

TIDES:

HIGH: 3:45 am 5.2'

LOW: 10:38 am 0.3'

HIGH: 6:06 pm 4.2'

LOW: 10:56 pm 2.8'
