Inspirational crystal quote of the day:
“It's not so much how busy you are, but why you are busy. The bee is praised. The mosquito is swatted.” - Mary Flannery O'Connor
Happy TGIF as we roll into this holiday weekend. Get those eggs painted and ready, call all the relatives to gather for Sunday brunch, chop your beets and kale, put your crystal encrusted Adidas kicks on and have a great day. We have sunny skies and an initial temp of 54F with higher temps expected. No wind and surf has kicked up a notch into the rideable category. Mostly a blend of that NW windswell but there is a little S swell sneaking in the back that can combo up and deliver waves. Not EPIC but working even on a very low tide.
CHANNEL: How low can you go asks the tide. Still another hour until it hits bottom which is below sea level. Secret sandbars on the Stinson side are still under water and working in the thigh high size range. The swell has come up a bit and the water will soon follow. Late morning into the afternoon / evening shows best potential but the morning is beautiful and you can find a wave if you try. Plenty to enjoy both on the beach or in the water today. Ho Brah - big boards work best.
PATCH: Almost all rocks are exposed so shield your eyes and mind your toes. S swell showing out at the meeting rock with visible and rideable waves in the thigh high + size. 1 SUP on it and a few surfers giving it the stink eye on the wall. Great stuff for the log and the coconut wireless reported good conditions yesterday afternoon on the higher tide. It works now and will work better later. Jump in and get a few today.
PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT.
Respect the Beach.
