Daily Surf Report - 10/21/2012

Hop on Pop on Top of a Log - and go surf!!

Fall mornings and summer afternoons with cool morning temps giving way to warmth. Currently red / orange / blue sky morning with light off shore wind and temp of 50F. Smooth ocean surface with small waves marching towards shore. Longboards are the vehicle of choice today. Great day for beginners and those learning to surf. Drink your coffee and get on it.

CHANNEL: Thigh high lefts off the deep Channel bar with a pod of 10 surfers waiting. Knee to thigh high inside lefts off the Groin Pole look better and good for body surfing, boogie boards or quick drops on the surfboard. Morning tides are high - lows and afternoon tides are high - high so early efforts are best and possibly rewarded with waves.

PATCH: Glassy inside goodness with knee high + rights making an appearance. Rocks are covered but lurk below. Watch your fins and feet but ride some gliders here today. Only 4 in the water and sun is up on the horizon. A beatiful spot to start your Sunday. Bring out the tank and ride coffin style!

Just a reminder to pack your trash!!!
PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.
