Daily Surf Report - 10/17/2012

ATTENTION: To all of you "wall artists" that want to pretend this is the South Bronx and like to bomb the sea walls here at the beach...just remember that this isn't New York or any inner city. It's BOLINAS and PLEASE take your spray cans and garbage with you when your done pretending that you're in the movie; "Wild Style". Thanks.

Good day to all of you aqua humanoids. The sun is already out as it is currently 52 degrees and it should warm up again making this a beautiful day. As for the surf...."Honey, I Shrunk The Swell." It's all still very log-able but one must have patience....and good paddling skills. Did I mention that there was no wind? Good day for them thar beginners!

CHANNEL: Like your seventh grade date for the homecoming dance-- not much happening above the waist. The Channel is rolling something in across the Middle Bar as well as the Groin pole but it's about waist high at best and not always clean. Big board and sun block.

PATCH: Thigh to knee. Slogging through the outside as well as in the Salad bar (also known as the Kelp bed) like a sloth after downing a couple bottles of cough syrup. Bigger the board the better the ride.

Just a reminder to pack your trash!!!
PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.
