Daily Surf Report - 10/12/2012

BELIEVE.......
Welcome to Friday! We have overcast skies with the potential for sun today. Light overnite drizzle but no real rainfall. Currently 54F and again no wind present and a smooth ocean. We are between swells at the moment so not to much to ride out there but if you have a big board or are learning to surf it is a great day.

CHANNEL: Super glassy and almost flat with occasional waves rolling through at the middle Channel bar. Looks to be thigh high + and smooth with only 1 surfer out. A few dumpers on the inner Groin bar which look good for body surfing. Late morning outgoing tide may help with the shape.

PATCH: Small inside waves in the thigh high range and in the middle almost waist high. Intermittent peaks and soft but rideable on a big log of SUP. About 8 in the water now catching a few rights that are working. Tide keeps the rocks covered so this may be the better spot today.

Just a reminder to pack your trash!!!
PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.
