Daily Surf Report - 4/8/2017

Inspirational Quote of the Day:
"Forget injuries, never forget kindnesses." - Confucius

Drab but drying with intermittent hints of sun +blue to confuse and confound.  On and off showers though in lesser quantity as we say goodbye to the drought which has had a good long run.  Minor squalls passing through and light SW winds on a relatively smooth ocean.  Plenty of lump and bump to contend with due to a sound NW swell and residual S windswell.  44F to start the day and the rest is truly anyone's guess.

CHANNEL: Time and tide on your side in the early hours as virgin rollers appear in double time.  Chest high peaks and occasional freaks refract upon the sandbars and distribute in two directions.  A much improved countenance from yesterday's windwash and looks to hold promise until the tide hits apex.  Lowtide afternoons should also carry hope though the weekend.

PATCH:  Touched by a rainbow and that is as good a reason as any to paddle out.  Small scale southerly windswell bearing early fruits are offered for the tasting.
