Daily Surf Report - 4/13/2017

Inspirational Quote of the Day:
"Go confidently in the direction of your dreams.  Live the life you've imagined." - Henry David Thoreau

Another day, another dousing as more rain falls in moderation.  One senses the potential for clearing as sky pockets in the distance appear blue, sunny and inviting.  Without winds the drops fall straight and unwavering to earth.  Balmy at 52F and surrounded by mist and wonder in the clearing light.  A new NW swell will begin filling in and joining forces with the current SW windswell from earlier storms. The rain tastes especially sweet as you walk along the beach and morning low tide holds no secrets.

CHANNEL: Low tide / No tide as we hit rock bottom.  Less equals less with not quite enough water to orchestrate more than worm-burner slop chop.  Incoming tide and filling NW swell gives one hope that the afternoon may yet hold opportunity.

PATCH:  Most all rocks exposed from the morning tidal retreat.  Hours must pass until enough water returns to make this locality more persuasive.  Try coffee now and contemplate a pre-lunch revisit.
