Daily Surf Report - 11/9/2013

WINTER HOURS are now in effect.
We are now open daily from 10am - 5pm from NOVEMBER through APRIL.

Inspirational crystal quote of the day:
“A ship in harbor is safe, but that is not what ships are built for.” - William G.T. Shedd

Early fog and foxtrot steps along the roads.  Now crystal clear, sunny, windless and 52F.  Nothing but goodness on this beautiful Fall day.  Plenty of beach and waves to ride.  Snarf your Crunch Berries, drink your kale smoothies and find your way inner shaka-ra.  Good times come to me now.

CHANNEL:  Fun stuff for the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers as the Channel delivers waist high rollers.  Grab lots of foam and find the right kind of glide this morning.  Practice animal speak and fin first drop ins.  Seek the nose and laugh all morning.  Wave size is waist high with lefts in the Channel and solo rights to seek at Seadrift for the lone wolf crew.  Full on mellow session with no unchecked aggression which will not stand.  Tide switch to going low may help and water levels are good all day.  Run, don't walk to the beach and get wet.

PATCH:  Small and knee high but not really breaking yet.  Empty lineup but keep 1 eye open for something special.  Lots of paw prints in the sand heading over but no humans riding waves yet.

PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT.
Respect the Beach.
