Good morning to all of you creatures of the brine! It's 57 degrees here at the beach with heavy cloud cover and even a few sprinkles here and there. No real wind to speak of thus far and the water is Windex glassy for now. The tide is riding higher than Erkle's pants this morning but will drop like John Moore's pants by mid-day perhaps creating a bit more ride-able conditions. Again, only time (and this blog) will tell.
CHANNEL: Funky like a bow-legged monkey. There is a thigh high tumbler that is basically going nowhere over the Middle bar. That lagoon is draining pretty fast and I see one (1) person on a longboard taking what I am sure is an unintended voyage out to sea. Sail on, sailor. Maybe later with the tide change in the late afternoon.
PATCH: Thigh-to-occasional-waist high glassy morsels are peeling away over the Middle of the Clam Patch all the way through the Snags. As the tide is rolling back a bit the Patch is waking up to a fresh cup 'o Joe. Fun on a log is what can be had here. Four (4) out there now... Looks like the popular 1960's psychedelic group, Russ & The Tater Salad Experience who were infamous for the regional hit, "Third Kook From The Patch."
