Good morning everyone and HOLEE BEANS is it ever a beautiful day, and in more ways than one! It's sunny out as the temperature is coming in at 51 degrees, no real wind as of yet AND a swell is in town! WOO! No time for chit-chat today kids. Go get your rubber on and the plank you like to spank best and glide, slide and ride!
CHANNEL: The Channel is behaving a bit odd today as it's breaking well into the chest high region but with this huge incoming tide it's looking more what scientists have referred to as "janky." It's got size, sure but not much of a clean ride. Four (4) are out there now on long boards doing what they can. I bet it gets better as the day rambles onward.
PATCH: Holy Shenanigans! The Patch is delivering and doing it with express mail. It's even out shining the Channel!!! Waist + (yes, you read that correctly) outside, middle, inside... you name it and the Patch is doing it. Clean rights and lefts and everyone is having fun at this party... even the dips! Though it's going to be a radical high tide today, the direction of this little South in the H2O (somewhere in el barrio of 230 degrees) looks to keep this party going! Don't be a jive turkey and go get your best dancing shoes on and boogie! A dozen or more in the Patch as I write this.
