Good morning and a happy 'hump day' to all of you enthusiasts of wave sliding. It's an absolutely gorgeous morning here at the beach with the sun out, the temperature showing a crisp 50 degrees (though it promises to be between the high 60's/low 70's later today). As for the surf....well, the tide is hitting maximum density this morning thus flooding out any potential for surf BUT, as we have all learned about tides; What comes in must eventually go out. Maybe later today. Keep an ojo peeled on this very blog for a possible update.
CHANNEL: I don't know if the Channel has been nipping cough syrup with Lil' Wayne but it's a waist high slow-poke roller that humps up, rolls for a few moments, sections then disappears back into the brine. Obviously it's a combination of too high a tide and not enough swell. Maybe later? One (1) lone janitor who goes by the name of Frank doing his dance called "The Pelican" is spending equal time above and below the surface.
PATCH: Too much tide (and I don't mean the laundry detergent) flattening the Patch like the Coyote under an ACME steam roller. Maybe when the tide turns and starts heading back out to sea something will transpire here? Stay tuned.
