Mystical Magical Crystalline journey through fog on the morning drive. Patches and potential for clearing along the way. Open your eyes to the true potential of each day and try to see things in a new light. In town a high overcast with zero wind and temp is 54F. Should warm up nicely as we still have high pressure in the region and clear skies are predicted through the weekend. We are pushing past a high tide with water coming up the boat ramp. Combo swell with a little bit of NW and SW joining forces to give us waves today. Outgoing should clean it up a bit more but it is rideable already.
CHANNEL: Fat roller lefts on the Groin bar that will wall up and run towards the beach. Egg-able, fish-able, body-surfable and dumpy on the inside. Fun stuff with a bit of juice on the higher tide. Mali-BO reelers working as well with rights inside the Groin wall that may not last too long once the tide switches towards low. Right now very rideable and waist high waves are the norm. Not much outside on the deeper Channel bar but maybe later as the tide heads low.
PATCH: Tide too high and not the best direction from the swells. Occasional inside right in the knee/thigh range but this spot needs a makeover and that wont happen til later in the day when the tide is lower. Good for kayaks and SUPs or NUPs if that is your water vehicle of choices.
PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT.
