Daily Surf Report - 8/12/2013

Possibly Closing Early today, CALL in advance. 

Its as calm as a crystal out there today but not nearly as clear. Foggy skies have enveloped our tiny little town and brought along a sheet o' glass ocean surface. 57*f this morning will sure to enhance your senses and arise the crystal in your heart. Mid low tide isn't very spectacular for the surf but with a pocket full of shinning gems, and heart full of shinning feelings you will have fun. 

 

 

CHANNEL: The sand bars are floating around on the surface but there is a ride-able knee to thigh high pulse cascading under 7 wave hunters rip-sticks. Sets are breaking way out there and every one is in a mood that feels good. Super glue your strongest double terminated tabular point crystal to your board and get some waves.

 

 

PATCH:  Some say I have gone off the deep end, but I say, "No way dude, tides to low and most of the patch is a rock bed." Ankle high bits and pieces are bumping around in an inch or two of water. High tide is the only option today for this spot but with more water far less toes will be stubbed.
