Daily Surf Report - 8/17/2013

Inspirational crystal quote of the day:

"The best surfer out there is the one having the most fun"
- Duke Kahanamoku

It is  sunny, clear, calm and beautiful this morning.  Current temp is 58F and it is warming up nicely.  I've got my crystal decoder / mood ring on and it is reading a teal green which has me in an aquatic frame of mind.  A ray of hope on the horizon and in the water as small BUT rideable waves can be found today.  Little bit of S swell starting to trickle up the coast and today is a day you can get wet and stand on a surfboard.

CHANNEL:  A few rolling through in the Channel and clocking in at knee to thigh high in size.  Longboard-able is a YES so pull out something 9.0' or bigger and take a dip.  Weather is fantastic an incoming tide push may be just the ticket to get some better waves today.  3 are in the water and a few more suiting up as it is enticing today in comparison to the earlier part of the week.

PATCH: Relatively flat with a very occasional inside right.  Knee high + in size but enough water there to keep the rocks at bay.  Keep you eye and heart open to change here and let the crystals guide you to Mother Ocean.  Good tide heights all day.
