Today is a beautiful day in town. WE have clear skies and an air temp of 59*F. Today I would like everyone to stop, take a deep breath, and think. Think about why you paddle out, why you surf, and why you do anything. Take a moment to appreciate the place you are and the people you are with. Not much in the wave department and a slight texture to the waters surface. Not a perfect surf day but it still can be a perfect day. Give out a few hugs and if your coming to the beach, bring a positive vibe.
CHANNEL: All bits, snips, rips with not to many lips. Surf is about ankle to knee high and no one in the water. Bumpy, but with a big board, you can have the best micro bumpy ride of your life. Its a day for a peaceful paddle and some much needed solitude.
The second annual Mill Valley Surf Film Festival is coming up, Sept 13th and 14th at the Sweetwater in downtown Mill Valley. Tickets are on sale now. Looks like a solid lineup this year with Mason Jennings and Rogue Wave playing sets after the films each night.
PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.
