Daily Surf Report - 6/25/2012

Bolinas is in water conservation mode and neither the beach nor the shop has showers for rinsing. You can now purchase a re-usable 2.5 gallon water heater jug from the shop or bring your own. A great accessory for the traveling surfer.

It's Monday and there is a fading swell, fading but somewhat south swell, with some lefts tumbling along the sandbars. The gray n' gloom early morning weather should break a little later this morning making it a wonderful sunny day to be at the beach. Word for the day; Log.
In celebration of Sir Paul McCartney's 70Th birthday we are playing all Beatles today at the shop!

Channel: A waist high left is barreling through here almost midway between the Groin pole and the boat ramp. However (yeah, there always seems to be one of those "however's" at Bo)the tide she is a goin' out and that pesky sand bar, coupled with the emptying lagoon make it a bit of a tough go BUT you can do it on a log. One lone soul out there catching lefts.

Patch: About two people out longbaording the inside right in front of the rocks on the Snags side of the Clam Patch. It's glassy but in the shin to knee/thigh high range. We may see some improvement at this location later in the day.

Just a reminder to pack your trash!!! PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.

TIDES:
Low: 9:57 am -0.3'
High: 5:14 pm 5.4'
Low: 11:06 pm 1.9'
