Daily Surf Report - 6/22/2012

Bolinas is in water conservation mode and neither the beach nor the shop has showers for rinsing. You can now purchase a re-usable 2.5 gallon water heater jug from the shop or bring your own. A great accessory for the traveling surfer.

Attention K-Mart shoppers! We have a Blue Light Sale on all small South swells today. It's overcast with light winds and mist-wanting-to-rain weather. The tide is low, low, low this morning. Currently 54 degrees. A bit of a bump from a South swell, with a big board and patience waves can be had and the Patch is the call. Incoming tide throughout the day is the key.

Channel: Scattered (super) low tide peaks with surf in the knee / thigh range. The sand bar is almost showing but there are left spinners to be had between the ramp and the Groin sign. Improvement will come with more water later in the day. Conditions have a little texure on the surface.

Patch: Lots of rocks exposed BUT this may be the call today as the South has lots of little lines coming through way out past the meeting rock and inside with the expose rocks are a few little waves in the knee to waist high range. When the tide turns log-in-the-fog is the call for this spot in the afternoon.

Just a reminder to pack your trash!!! PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.

TIDES:
Low: 7:58 am -0.7'
High: 3:22 pm 4.8'
Low: 8:06 pm 2.8'
