Daily Surf Report - 6/21/2012

Bolinas is in water conservation mode and neither the beach nor the shop has showers for rinsing. You can now purchase a re-usable 2.5 gallon water heater jug from the shop or bring your own. A great accessory for the traveling surfer.

Surf Camp Surf Contest this afternoon! See who will reign supreme as King of the Groms!

Overcast with light winds and low, low tide this morning. Currently 54 degrees. Not too much swell, but with a big board and patience waves can be had. Incoming tide throughout the day is the key.

Channel: Scattered low tide peaks with surf in the knee / thigh range. Improvement will come with more water later in the dayl. Conditions are clean with smooth ocean surface.

Patch: Lots of rocks exposed and lots of little lines in the ocean. Way out past the meeting rock and inside with the expose rocks are a few little waves in the knee high range. Wait for more water and log this spot in the afternoon.

Just a reminder to pack your trash!!! PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.

TIDES:
Low: 7:24 am -0.8'
High: 2:47 pm 4.7'
Low: 7:19 pm 2.8'
