Daily Surf Report - 1/30/2011

As of 12:00 pm:

Conditions haven't really improved, the channel isn't really working. There are about 12 guys out in front of the groin, with the occasional waist high wave rolling through.

The patch isn't working there is no one out there.

Looks like the best place to be is in front of the boat ramp. It's not very organized, but there are some rideable lefts and rights, again in the wist high range.

Drizzling, not too much wind.

Planning to close today at apx 2:00pm, as there isn't much happening with the surf and business is very slow.

Good Morning.

This morning, believe it or not, the sun is actually shining here in Bolinas. I don't know how long it will last, as we are completely surrounded with grey drizzly skies. The winds are slight and out of the NW. It seems as though the grey rainy weather is making it's way this way. We'll see how the day shapes up.

There is a little surf out there. The ocean surface is pretty bumpy but it is shaping up in both spots.

In the channel it is apx. waist high, not real clean, but rideable. There are about ten guys out, mostly longboarder's.

The patch is smaller with about knee, to thigh high waves rolling in. There are two guys out on kayaks.

Hours are weather pending today, so feel free to call and check before you come out. I will update later.
