Daily Surf Report - 1/2/2011

Good morning.

It's a pretty nice morning, a little stormy looking, with the sun poking out here and there. The winds are slight, and off shore.

There is definitely a pulse in the water, with waves breaking outside both spots every now and again. The high tide is mushing it up and it's not quite forming most of the time, but with the outgoing tide, conditions should improve.

There are four guys out in the channel not having much luck at this point.
Waves are in the shoulder high range when breaking. With the occasional outside head high set.

The patch has waves breaking outside, every once in a while, in the shoulder high range and more consistantly on the inside, in the waist high range. No one out there yet.

Again pretty disorganized and mushy at this point but should improve as water levels adjust. Come on out and surf.

As of 12:30 pm winds are variable and have picked up some. The surf has come down in size in accordance with the outgoing tide.

Channel is waist high at best.
Patch not really working but there are several people having fun catching waist high waves right in front of the boat ramp.
