Daily Surf Report - 1/15/2011

11:35am Update - Sunny day with fun waves.

Yellow/Red/Orange sunrise this morning with no wind and current temp of 47F. Nice start to the day. Slight warm weather trend predicted with highs in the 60s through the weekend. A bit high-tidey at the moment but some signs of swell showing in the water.

Channel and Groin: Surf is soft with the high tide. Ocean surface is smooth and waves are consistently waist high in size. Mostly lefts off the Channel bars and the occasional inside right. Fun waves that will break all the way to the inside.

Patch: Still working on the inside with rights that are thigh high +. Should improve as tide goes out. Great day to bring out the longboard and catch some rollers

We have new locally shaped Hand Planes in the shop made from recycled skateboards. Pair it with a set of Churchill fins and you will always have a smile on your face after your session. Each plane is unique and has individual signed artwork. Come by the shop and check them out. Makes a great gift for the surfer in the family.

Also re-stocked our custom board bags from Deeper Visions. Hand-made by a local Bolinas artist. A perfect way to store your board and all are one of a kind.

Just a reminder to pack your trash!!! PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.
